Content standards and corrections

Readers should be able to see a source’s origin, the update date and the limits of a claim.

Web edition · 14 October 2026

Three distinct records

  • Archive: A historical publication, preserved with its original date and source.
  • Current source: A primary institution, paper or methods document used by a new guide.
  • Working proposal: An exercise or explanation designed for this web edition, not an experimental result.

Authorship and review

Archive items retain their named authors and publication dates. The practical guides on this website are separate from those historical publications and do not claim scientific peer review or expert endorsement.

Sources and uncertainty

Important claims are linked to primary sources. Information that cannot clearly be verified is not used to produce definitive conclusions. A historical guide is not presented as current legislation or a new methods edition. Tools explain their calculations and assumptions.

Corrections

Use the contact page to report an error. When a correction is published, the relevant page’s update date changes; a short note accompanies a substantive revision. This web edition began on 14 October 2026.

Commercial and personal claims

We do not publish invented reviews, employees, awards, collaborations or statistics. Past domain spam is not presented as laboratory material. This site contains no advertising, payments, donations or visitor-tracking analytics.
